Trend Test II: Runway Jo

I am constantly told that I wear too much black or stick to the same colour palette when styling my outfits. Do you get the same comments? If so, then this post is dedicated to you. Styling a monochromatic look isn't easy; even though it may just seem like throwing on items with the same tones. On the contrary, it's much more than that, it comes with finding those unique pieces that should ultimately 1) complement your entire look and figure, and 2) that also fit both your fashion agenda and personal style. Also, these items should relatively -although not necessarily- be in style at the moment (even though I am very pro experimentation and encourage everyone to do so).
I was able to do the latter and quite successfully if I may say so myself at Runway Jo; starting with putting together a full outfit to finishing touches. Now let's take a closer look.

I visited my home town Amman, Jordan for a few days and my girlfriends there are constantly complaining that there's not much to shop from in Amman except for Zara and a few other places, making it difficult to stand out style-wise.
